The Service

Toaster ("the Bot") is an automated Discord moderation service. It detects scam and NSFW content, removes it, applies the punishments configured by server administrators, and helps clean up past scam activity.

Acceptance

By adding the Bot to a Discord server or using its commands, you accept these Terms on behalf of that server. If you do not accept them, remove the Bot.

Eligibility

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service, including the minimum age requirement. The Bot is provided for server moderation only.

Automated moderation

The Bot acts automatically: it may delete messages, timeout, kick or ban users, and send direct messages to punished users.
Detection is probabilistic. False positives and false negatives can happen. Administrators are responsible for reviewing incidents (log channel, site dashboard, review cards) and for choosing punishments that fit their community.
Consequences of moderation actions, including mistaken ones, rest with the server administration, not the Bot operator.

Acceptable use

Do not try to evade, probe or overload the detection system, including by flooding the Bot.
Do not use the Bot to harass users or to moderate content it was not built for.
Do not misrepresent the Bot's actions to your members.

Availability

The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be restarted, updated or discontinued at any time. Detection quality depends on the reference database and on third-party services (Discord API, top.gg), which have their own outages and rate limits.

Termination

The operator may refuse service to any server, for example in case of abuse. You can stop using the service at any time by removing the Bot; retained data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Bot operator is not liable for damages, data loss, lost messages, wrongful punishments or community harm arising from the use or inability to use the Bot.

Changes

These Terms may be updated. Material changes will be announced in the support server. Continued use after a change takes effect means acceptance.
